A smooth user experience is the most crucial part of WINR's mission to transition iGaming to a decentralized computer. A portion of this smoothness comes from the swift RNG generation on-chain to offer instantaneous results and compete with centralized peers.
As announced earlier, WINR Labs has been researching and developing a native VRF solution for both EVM-based chains, which includes the upcoming WINR Chain. WINR VRF will first be deployed on Arbitrum One, followed by other EVM chains, and will be provided as a service to every DApp that requires a fast and cheap, provably fair RNG.
The service will open a new gateway for WINR utility and a new stream of revenue for the protocol. Every RNG will be provable with a public key, which existing VRF solutions currently lack.
Here are the results from the latest benchmark test on Arbitrum Goerli. In essence, a request and a response correspond to a random number request (i.e. a transaction that starts the bet), and the response represents the finalization of this transaction.
- Request Response: 339 ms
- Request Response: 332 ms
- Request Response: 318 ms
- Request Response: 170 ms
One step closer at a time for a decentralized iGaming. It's on.
